Fast forward a few years and armed with a degree and a small pocket full of broad knowledge I was then on my way to "making it" when I got lucky and landed a runner's spot at The Dairy Studios, Brixton, England.
Being the tea boy was never easy but I eventually transitioned to Assistant Engineer and then Engineer and was fortunate enough to work with and learn from some incredible Engineers and Producers who taught me so much along the way and I feel definitely left their mark on me and shaped the way I work. In my role at the studio I would then handle any type of job that would come in, whether it was recording vocals over a backing track, recording full bands, mixing or just doing a simple voiceover for radio or TV.
Armed with a few decent credits in my hand and a small wealth of experience, in 2009 I decided it was time for pastures new and moved to Destin, Florida where I became an independent / freelance Producer / Engineer but also started to handle all of the output for Blues Destiny Records, a Florida based Blues record label. I presently work predominantly out of the SSL studio Destin Recording but also travel and am constantly looking for new and exciting projects to get involved with, whether they be Rock / Pop / Blues / Country or whatever.
